Nigerian businessman, Ben Murray-Bruce, has reacted to the appointment of American businessman and investor, Elon Musk, to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) by President-Elect of the United States (US), Donald Trump.

Murray-Bruce described the move as a “bold step”, saying, “this approach is innovative, necessary, and something every country, especially Nigeria, should consider”.
Following his emergence as 47th President of the US, Donald Trump has made several appointments encompassing, former Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA); former Congresswoman, Kristi Neom, as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS); Elon Musk to lead Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE); among others.
