Katz said, the “additional sanctions on Iran” will hit hard on “airlines, and individuals involved in the transfer of ballistic missiles and UAVs that threaten Europe and the Middle East”.

According to Katz: “I welcome the decision of the European Union and the United Kingdom to impose additional sanctions on Iran, including the airlines, and individuals involved in the transfer of ballistic missiles and UAVs that threaten Europe and the Middle East.

These sanctions send a message that the international community will not tolerate Iran’s dangerous actions and its support for terrorism and destabilization of the region.

Iran and its proxies continue to pose a threat to the free world – and through coordinated and meaningful action we can stop its aggression and ensure security in the region.”
