United States (US) Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has expressed concerns about tens of millions of people “forcibly displaced” as a result of “war”.

He said, “120 million people globally have been forcibly displaced by war, climate change, and disease.”
Blinken made this known at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) which is currently ongoing in New York City, United States (US).
He said, “I convened leaders to discuss the steps we must take to strengthen the humanitarian system.”
According to Blinken: “120 million people globally have been forcibly displaced by war, climate change, and disease.
At UNGA, I convened leaders to discuss the steps we must take to strengthen the humanitarian system, including supporting host countries, development efforts, and new technology usage.”
