A man charged with the murder of a woman at a flat in Glasgow has appeared in court.

Alexander Brennan is alleged to have struck Brodie MacGregor on her face repeatedly, alongside her head and body with broken glass bottles at the property in Springburn, Glasgow, Scotland on 26 August.
52-year old Brennan, of Stenhousemuir, is also accused of inflicting more blunt force trauma to Mrs MacGregor, a 23-year-old mother, by means unknown.
Mrs MacGregor was discovered dead at the flat on Elmvale Street on the day of the alleged incident.
During an initial appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, he made no plea.
