Israel V Hamas: ‘Nearly 500,000 people in Gaza facing acute food insecurity’ – UNRWA

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) disclosed, “in Gaza, nearly 500,000 people are facing catastrophic levels of acute food insecurity”.

The relief and human development agency said, this is as a result of the fighting between Israel and Hamas.

The UN agency which provides assistance and protection for registered Palestinian refugees called for a “#CeasefireNow”.

According to UNRWA: “A high and sustained risk of famine persists across the #GazaStrip as long as the war continues, according to the latest report by
