David Cameron, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom (UK) has met with President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, for a ceasefire to the fighting between Israel and Hamas.

The former Prime Minister of the UK said, “widening of the conflict in Gaza is in nobody’s interest.”
According to Cameron: “A widening of the conflict in Gaza is in nobody’s interest.
Meeting President @Isaac_Herzog we agreed the current deal offers the best path to a ceasefire. I also urged against escalation on the northern border with Lebanon.
We must explore all options to achieve lasting peace.”
Israel Defence Forces (IDF) Chief has made it clear to troops in Gaza, the fighting continues until goals are reached, saying, the Israeli army has “quality forces and quality commanders” to emerge victorious.
He said, “the plan is going forward, we continue until we achieve our goals.”
The IDF few days ago rescued four (4) Israeli hostages during a “complex” raid in Central Gaza.
