Bayer Leverkusen made light work of Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga 2023/24 match on Sunday 5 May, 2024 at Deutsche Bank Park, winning 5-1.
Granit Xhaka opened scoring for the Black and Reds in the 12th minute, but, the hosts levelled in the 32nd minute through Hugo Ekitike.
Patrick Schick placed Leverkusen ahead again in the 44th minute, before Exequiel Palacios, Jeremie Frimpong and Nigerian striker, Victor Boniface made it three, four and five in the 58th (penalty), 77th and 89th (penalty) minutes respectively.
Bayer Leverkusen were crowned Bundesliga 2023/24 winners after a 5-0 whitewash of Werder Bremen at BayArena on Sunday 14 April, 2024, with Boniface opening scoring for the new German Kings.
