Manchester United reached the final of the FA Cup 2023/24 after beating Coventry City in the semi final on penalties 4-2 at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 21 April, 2024.

Erik Ten Hag’s side who were three goals in front watched as Coventry levelled to take the encounter to a penalty shootout.
Coventry’s fourth goal by Victor Torp which should have taken them to final probably was cancelled by VAR for offside.
Scot McTominay netted United’s first goal in the 23rd minute, defender Harry Maguire made it two in the 45+1′, and Bruno Fernandes netted the third in the 58th minute.
Ellis Simms and O’Hare reduced the margin for the Championship side in the 71st and 79th minutes respectively, and Haji Wright ensured he levelled from the penalty spot in the 5th minute of additional time.
The clash went on into extra time and then a penalty shootout where Manchester United eventually clinched their spot in the final of the FA Cup 2023/24.
Manchester United will lock horns with neighbours, Manchester City in the final at Wembley Stadium on 25 May, 2024.
