In the 2023 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) quarter final clash, Nigeria scaled through Angola by a lone goal scored by Ademola Lookman in the 41st minute.
Lookman, Atalanta BC forward, beautifully converted Moses Simon’s cross to place the Super Eagles one goal ahead against the Palancas Negras at Stade Felix Houphouët-Boigny on Friday 2 February, 2024.
According to CAF: “Moses Simon.
“Quite a perforamce and an assist make him the TotalEnergies Man of the Match!”
With this result, Nigeria are through to the semi finals of the AFCON 2023.
