The Nigerian Chef is the new holder of the longest cooking marathon by an individual after discomfiting India’s Lata Tondon’s record of 87 hours, 45 minutes, 00 seconds.
Hilda Baci said: “Cook-a-thon challenge, one of my biggest aspirations”, tagging herself “breaker of records”.
According to Guinness World Records, Hilda Baci cooked for “93 hours, 11 minutes”.
Her GWR Certificate says: “The longest cooking marathon (individual) is 93 hr 11 min and was achieved by Hilda Bassey (Nigeria) in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria, from 11 to 15 May 2023.”
