The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) via a Press Release, disclosed, some of its “staff both regular and ad hoc were victims of violence”.

The Commission further explained that, “some of our staff were abducted, harassed and in one case killed”, these led to the election process not going as seamless as expected in some places.
