Russia-Ukraine: President Zelensky presses EU for jets, UK not transferring jets anytime soon

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky is visiting Brussels, Belgium, as he continues to tour European capitals to push for more weapons so as to enable him repel invasion by Russia.

“Stay the course” in your support for Ukraine, Zelensky urged the EU while addressing the European Parliament.

He is to have a meeting with EU leaders subsequently on Thursday.

Defense Secretary of the United Kingdom (UK) opened up to newsmen, there will be no immediate deployment of fighter jets to Ukraine.

It is “more realistic and more productive” to think about planes as a long-term target, Ben Wallace says.
