Singer Lisa Marie Presley, the only offspring of rock ‘n’ roll legend, Elvis, has died at the age of 54, her mother said.

Priscilla Presley said: “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss.”

US Media revealed the American singer-songwriter had cardiac arrest and was taken to hospital earlier on Thursday.

Priscilla Presley, her mother, gave no detail on the possible cause of death.
