France forward Kylian Mbappe won the FIFA World Cup 2022 Golden Boot, thanks to his hat-trick against Argentina in the final of the tournament at the Lusail Stadium in Lusail, Qatar, on Sunday 18 December, 2022.

Despite Mbappe’s hat-trick, France still ended up on the losing side.
Both Mbappe and Messi were on five goals going into the final of the tournament between Argentina and France.
Argentina won the encounter on penalties 4-2 after a tough match which ended 3-3.
On the list of the FIFA World Cup 2022 top 20 Goalscorers, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forwards, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi are first and second with eight and seven goals respectively.
