Memory Verse: Galatians 2:20 – “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

“nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me” |
Introduction: Paul the Apostle surrendered himself to Jesus Christ with amazing eagerness and love for the work of His Kingdom. He totally gave himself into the work of God for values and gains that are everlasting.
In his letters, Paul the Apostle showed that Loyalty means to be consistent as a Christian. 1 Corinthians 15:58 says “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” Paul, is telling us that when we make the choice to be loyal to God, we must ensure to be unchanging about it and that our loyalty to God can never be for nothing.
Another scripture that encourages us to be unchanging about our loyalty to God is 2 Peter 3:14, which says “Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”

Have Faith in God and always depend on Him |
- Drop Those Bags: You cannot move around with God carrying too much load. You have to drop those bags of sin and wrong actions you have taken in the past at the foot of the cross of Jesus Christ and move forward with a heart that is free of impurities, hatred, resentment and condemnation.
- Unite and Commit: Be honestly united to the Almighty God; if you are disunited spiritually then you are not united to Him. Commit yourself to God’s purpose and will. Be truly committed to the extent where whatever you do will be to the glory of His Holy name. Fulfil His purpose with a good, distinguishing feature and ability.
- Stay and Familiarize: To achieve great success in life and ministry becomes an illusion without the knowledge of God first. Therefore, acquaint yourself with God and abide in Him – it is the true Loyalty test. Without God, nothing can be achieved. Read John 15:1-5. Always depend on God, only Him gives strength, wisdom and all other things that you need to achieve great success.
- Desire And Consecration: Progress in destiny comes from personal desire. The truth is, Desire produces achievement. When you desire something passionately, with cogent creativity and dedicated efforts, you will certainly achieve it. Desire to be impactful positively and show genuine dedication to an honorable cause and God will show himself faithful. Read 1 Corinthians 9:15-18
- Faith And Focus: Seeing the invisible and making it visible, that is Faith. Have faith in the Almighty God as well as your God-given ability to make things happen. Do not forget to focus on what is relevant and necessary. If you lose focus, it is certain you will not be able to achieve much for God.
- Goal And Growth: Without goals to chase, you cannot achieve much in life. Before you embark on the journey of Growth, you must have goals. Work towards growing frequently and seek for ways to advance. Do not stay contented with the level you are and what you have achieved today, seek to add more and be better than the person you currently are.
- Justice: The fair treatment of the people who come close to you matters a lot in your loyalty to life and ministry. In Micah 6:8, Prophet Micah says, “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”
- Knowledge And Prayer: What you know will help you a lot in different sphere and facet of your life. Your knowledge is your ladder to the top. However, the knowledge has to supported with constant prayers to God. Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Also, believers are counselled to pray constantly. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says “Pray without ceasing.”
- Work Hard And Learn: Diligence is one of the essential keys to a life and ministry of success. Hard work brings success. Welcoming laziness will surely come with failure and poverty. Learn how to be successful in your loyalty to God.
- Talents and Temperance: Our talents are God’s endowments for our success. Sadly, many never get to discover their talents, and this is the reason success stays far away from them. When we are loyal to God, He will help us discover our talents. With temperance around your talent, it will definitely lead to great and beautiful success. Examples from the Bible are, David before King Saul, Joseph in Potiphar’s house.
