Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah was on target as the Reds reinforced their top four hopes with a beautiful 3-1 triumph, in their first top flight encounter since the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

Unai Emery’s side provided a cogent response in the second 45 minutes when Ollie Watkins pulled one back for the hosts through a fine header in the 59th minute
18-year old Spanish substitute, Stefan Bajcetic sealed victory for Liverpool in the 81st minute
