Manchester City stunned Tottenham Hotspur to emerge victorious after falling two goals down in the first half at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday 19 January.
Tottenham were two goals ahead in the first 45 minutes, however, Manchester City fought back and netted four times in the second 45 minutes to clinch all three points of the encounter.
Pep Guardiola’s side came back very fierce in the second half to beat Spurs 4-2 and close up the gap on League toppers, Arsenal.
Antonio Conte’s men drew the first blood through Dejan Kulusevski in the 44th minute and Emerson Royal extended the lead with the second goal.
Manchester City responded six minutes into the second half through Julian Alvarez, two minutes later, Erling Braut Haaland levelled for the hosts.

In the 63rd minute, Riyad Mahrez placed the Citizens ahead with the third, and the Algerian went ahead to seal victory for City with the fourth in 90th minute.

Manchester City are second on the League table with 42 points, five points trailing toppers, Arsenal, while Tottenham are fifth with 33 points.
