Copa del Rey: Villarreal 2-3 Real Madrid – Chukwueze scores for Yellow Submarine, Los Blancos come from behind to clinch win

Dani Ceballos came off the bench to inspire a comeback in the second half as Real Madrid hustled to discomfit Villarreal in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey.

Real Madrid fell two goals down in the first 45 minutes to Villarreal as Etienne Capoue opened scoring early, in the 4th minute.

Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze, made it two for the Yellow Submarine in the 42nd minute.

Real Madrid responded in the second half when Substitute Dani Ceballos assisted Vinicius Junior to open scoring for Los Blancos in the 57th minute, and Eder Militao equalized for Carlo Ancelotti’s side in the 69th minute.

Ceballos sealed victory late for Madrid, in the 86th minute, with a beautiful finish from the edge of the box.
