Lagos State Government says: “Lassa fever is endemic in some parts of West Africa including Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and Nigeria. It is highly infectious. Hygiene is key.”
Precautions to take:
- Always keep your environment clean
- Block holes in your homes to prevent entry of rats
- Cover all food items properly
- Cook all foods properly before eating
