Lagos State Government says: “Lassa fever is endemic in some parts of West Africa including Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and Nigeria. It is highly infectious. Hygiene is key.”

Precautions to take:

  1. Always keep your environment clean
  2. Block holes in your homes to prevent entry of rats
  3. Cover all food items properly
  4. Cook all foods properly before eating
