The “reconstructed MCC Road” was commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari, as one of his activities after visiting the Southeastern State for the 2023 Presidential Campaign rally of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The 2023 Presidential Campaign rally of the APC was hosted by Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, on Wednesday 15 February, 2023.
Governor Hope Uzodimma said: “One of the hallmarks of Mr. President’s activities yesterday, was the commissioning of MCC road Owerri, which was reconstructed by our Shared Prosperity administration.
“I am full of joy seeing the aesthetics and durability of the construction as delivered by the contractor, Leo 9, which are in compliance with the contractual terms.
“The cheerful expression by the residents and road users remains a source of motivation to my administration’s developmental drive and we shall deliver more quality projects to the good people of Imo State.”
