Thomas Lee, a United States (US) Billionaire financier has been found dead, the family reveals.

He helped pioneer the debt-fuelled corporate acquisition called the leverage buyout.
Via a statement, Thomas Lee’s family said they were “extremely saddened” by the death of the 78-year old.
He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his Manhattan office, the New York Post says.
The New York City Police Department (NYPD) disclosed to the BBC, an unnamed 78-year old man had been found dead on Thursday morning at 767 fifth avenue.
The address is where Thomas H Lee Capital LLC are listed.
At the time of his demise, Thomas Lee was worth $2b, according to Forbes.
