Photos 👇 Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2023 Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has “joined other Nigerians in exercising his civic duty” in the ongoing 2023 Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections.
Tinubu seized the opportunity to “encourage” all Nigerians to “go out and vote peacefully”.
The former Governor of Lagos State said: “I just joined other Nigerians in exercising my civic duty in the ongoing governorship and state assembly elections. I encourage you all to go out and vote peacefully.”
Tinubu who emerged winner in the tightly-contested 2023 Presidential election was declared Nigeria’s President-elect by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and handed his Certificate Of Return following his victory.
He defeated Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP); Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP); Rabiu Kwakwanso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP); alongside other Presidential candidates of other Political Parties.
Peter Obi, however, believes “we won the election and we will prove it”.
Legal team of the Labour Party (LP) have succeeded in collecting documents of the 2023 Presidential election conducted on Saturday 25 February, 2023 from the country’s electoral body to “prosecute its case” in court as INEC said the Commission “has nothing to hide”.
