Lt. General Oladipo Diya, former Chief of General Staff, under the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, died at the age of 79 in the morning of Sunday 26 March, as announced by his son via a statement.
Tinubu sent his “heartfelt condolences to his wives and children”, describing General Diya’s death a “shock”.
The former Governor of Lagos State said: “The news of the death of General Oladipo Diya early this morning came to me as a shock. I send my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to his immediate family especially his wives and children.”
