Sudan Unrest: 27 buses arrive Port Sudan as first set of arrivals to Nigeria expected today

Sudan has been experiencing serious unrest as a result of heavy fighting between the Army of Sudan and the paramilitary force.

The fighting has led to the loss of hundreds of lives, with several others serious injured.

Dabiri-Erewa disclosed, twenty-seven (27) buses have arrived Port Sudan safely yesterday, Tuesday 2 May, 2023 for evacuation of more Nigerian citizens from Sudan.

She also made known that, the first set of arrivals to Nigeria from Egypt is expected today, Wednesday 3 May, 2023.

Dabiri-Erewa disclosed: “More cheering news as 27 buses arrived Port Sudan safely yesterday. Hopefully looking forward to the first set of arrivals to Nigeria  from Egypt today.”
