Sudan Unrest: Nigerian evacuees arrive in Abuja

First batch of Nigerian citizens who fled war-torn Sudan have arrived Abuja via NAF C 130 at about 2340hrs, as disclosed by Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).

The Commission went on to disclose, an estimate of three hundred and seventy-six (376) evacuees arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Some of the evacuees also arrived via Nigerian Ariline, Air Peace, and were received by NIDCOM Chairman, Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

NIDCOM disclosed: “The first batch of Nigerians who fled war-torn Sudan arrived via military jet C13 at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 2340HRS with an estimate of 376 evacuees.


“3rd of May, 2023.”
