King Charles III Coronation: King leaves Cathedral

King Charles III has taken an oath and crowned as King before thousands of witnesses at the Westminster Abbey in London on Saturday 6 May, 2023.

The crowing is done and the King makes his way out of Westminster Abbey as guests inside the Cathedral sing the UK National Anthem, “God save the King”.

The King and Queen will now lead another lavish procession in their horse-drawn carriage and greet people before going back to the Buckingham Palace.
