The encounter which ended 1-1 after 120 minutes, saw the Spanish side, Sevilla, beat Italian side, Roma, to emerge winners of the Uefa Europa League 2022/23 title.

Roma boss Jose Mourinho was denied a chance to make history by winning a record sixth European trophy.
Sevilla had previously won six out of their six Europa League finals, making them the most successful side in the competition’s history — and Wednesday’s victory extended that streak to seven.
