People’s Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC) paid a condolence visit to Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, following children fun fair tragedy that happened in Ibadan.

A stampede at Islamic High School In Basorun, Ibadan, killed more than thirty (30) children, and left several others injured.

@OfficialPDPNig paid a condolence visit to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State over the tragic Children Fun Fair stampede that occurred in the state in December
The NWC delegation, led by the Deputy National Chairman, South, H.E Amb. Taofeek Arapaja, expressed the heartfelt condolences of the Party to the government and people of Oyo State, particularly the families of the victims.
Governor Makinde who received the delegation appreciated the visit, stating that the incident was a huge loss for the state and the nation at large. He reassured the NWC of his continued commitment towards the wellbeing of the people.
Assuring that the PDP remains strong and united, Governor Makinde @seyiamakinde stressed that Nigerians don’t want a one-Party State and are ready to vote out leaders that are not delivering on their promises.”
