Executive Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has hailed former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, saying, “he has been unwavering in his commitment to the development of our dear country”.

Governor Obaseki made this statement as he celebrated the 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), who he tagged as “friend” on his 62nd birthday.
Peter Obi turned 62 on Wednesday 19 July, 2023.
He was born on 19 July, 1961 in Onitsha, Anambra State.
In his birthday greetings to Peter Obi, the Edo Governor wrote:
I celebrate my friend, @PeterObi, former Governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election, as he marks his 62nd birthday today.
