The encounter ended 1-1 before the penalties with En-Nesyri scoring for the Sevillistas in the 25th minute and Palmer levelling for the Citizens in the 63rd minute.
Manchester City add the Uefa Super Cup 2023 title to the treble they won in the 2022/23 season.
Pep Guardiola’s side clinched the Premier League, FA Cup and the Uefa Champions League titles in the 2022/23 season.
