SSC Napoli discomfited Frosinone by three goals to one in the Serie A match at Stadio Benito Stirpe on Saturday 19 August, 2023.
Despite starting beautifully against the Serie A defending Champions, Frosinone, who just got newly-promoted, were left with nothing at the end of the encounter.
Forsinone took the lead early, in the 7th minute through Abdou Harroui, slotting low to the gaolkeeper’s left.
Matteo Politano equalized for the Partenopei in the 24th minute.

Victor Osimhen moved Napoli ahead three minutes to half time, and went ahead to seal victory for the visitors with his second in the 79th minute.
