This is the first time ever Spain is winning the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Olga Carmona, Captain of Spain, scored for the La Roja in the 29th minute, and England goalkeeper, Mary Earps, saved Jennifer Hermoso’s second half spot kick.
Spain emerge the fifth team to lift the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
