Bundesliga 2023/24: Bayern Munich 2-2 Bayer Leverkusen – Kane scores as Bavarians are held at home

Kane opened scoring for the Bavarians early, in the 7th minute, however, the visitors fought back and levelled in the 24th minute through Alex Grimaldo.

Thomas Tuchel’s side thought they had clinched victory when Leon Goretzka placed Bayern Munich in front again with the second goal four (4) minutes to full time, but Bayer Leverkusen won a penalty through which they levelled and clinched a point to take back home.

Exequiel Palacios netted the penalty in the 4th minute of additional time.

With this outcome, both sides have ten (10) points, however, Bayer Leverkusen stay atop with goal difference.
