Attack On Israel: ‘We are saddened by the huge loss of life’ – Chelsea FC

English Premier League club, Chelsea FC, has expressed sadness over the “huge loss of life following last weekend’s attacks on Israel”.

The fighting between Hamas and Israel which started on Saturday 7 October, 2023, has resulted to the killing of innocent civilians.

The Blues said, “We stand with the Jewish community in London and around the world.”

The club added, it will remember all the innocent lives lost in both Israel and Gaza when they lock horns with Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 21 October, 2023.

Chelsea said: “Chelsea FC is enormously saddened by the huge loss of life following last weekend’s attacks on Israel. We stand with the Jewish community in London and around the world in the face of the rising tide of antisemitism, which we have long campaigned against.

 

“We will join with our fellow Premier League clubs in remembering all the innocent lives lost in Israel and Gaza in recent days at Stamford Bridge when we play Arsenal.”
