He added, “the impact of such conflicts on innocent civilians is immense.”
Israel has not stopped pounding the city of Gaza since Palestinian militants known as Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel in the early hours of Saturday 7 October, 2023, killing hundreds of Israelis and taking several others hostage.
The fighting between Hamas and Israel has resulted to the killing of innocent civilians both Israelis and Palestinians.
Ahmad said: “The situation in Gaza is deeply concerning, and the gravity of what its residents are enduring is hard to fully comprehend as Israel persists with relentless bombing from all fronts. The impact of such conflicts on innocent civilians and infrastructure is immense. Our prayers and thoughts are always with our brothers and sisters in Gaza during these extremely extremely difficult times, may God protect them and come to their rescue. Ameen!”
