AFCON 2023: Nigeria 2-0 Cameroon – ‘Lookman’ – Atiku hails Super Eagles forward

2023 Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has come out to hail Nigeria forward, Ademola Lookman, after his heroic performance at the round of 16 clash against Cameroon.

On Saturday 27 January, 2024, the Super Eagles of Nigeria beat the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon 2-0 in the round of 16 of the 2023 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) to reach the quarter finals of the tournament.

Lookman netted Nigeria’s goals in the 36th and 90th minutes to set a quarter final clash against Angola who defeated Namibia 3-0 earlier on Saturday.

With clap emoji, former Nigeria Vice President, Atiku, simply wrote: “Lookman.”
