Super Eagles of Nigeria have progressed into the final of the 2023 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) after beating the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the semi final on Wednesday 7 February, 2024.

At Stade Bouaké, Nigeria emerged victorious over South Africa on penalties; the West African side won by four (4) goals to two (2) following a 1-1 draw, after 120 minutes.
Nigeria went in front in the 67th minute through defender, William Troost-Ekong, from the penalty spot, however, South Africa fought back and levelled in the 90th minute through Teboho Mokoena, from the penalty spot.
The Super Eagles will lock horns with the winner between host, Ivory Coast and DR Congo in the final.
