The Super Eagles of Nigeria have made a huge confession at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, as they were hosted by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying, “for the first time, we have gone through a major competition without any issues whatsoever relating to our allowances, bonuses”.

The Super Eagles also had group photos with the President at the Presidential Villa; every player alongside official got handsomely rewarded after finishing second at the recently concluded 2023 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.
Nigeria lost to the host, Ivory Coast, by one goal to two at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium on Sunday 11 February, 2024.
The Super Eagles confessed: “For the first time, we have gone through a major competition; we have come back without any complaint, without any issues whatsoever relating to our allowances, bonuses, or whatever. They kept the team focused on the matches in front of them with quality results”
President Tinubu rewarded each player and official of the team National Honours of the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON), plots of land and more for their beautiful outing at the AFCON 2023.
HC: This means they’ve always had issues with payment of allowances and bonuses after representing Nigeria before now! Wow!!
