Gaza has fallen into darkness severally due to the war between Israel and Palestinian militants, known as, Hamas.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said, “#Gaza has been plunged into darkness on multiple occasions during the war.”
The fighting between Israel and Hamas was ignited after Hamas struck the Southern region of Israel by surprise, killing several Israelis with several others taken hostage.
Israel launched its retaliatory airstrikes following Hamas’ surprise attack, went ahead and imposed a siege on the city of Gaza, which prevented food, clean water, medicine, electricity, and other necessities from entering the city.
UNRWA added: “Telecom cuts for days on end, leaving most of the +2 million population unable to communicate with each other or the outside world, amid escalating Israeli military operation & relentless bombardment.”
The United States (US) alongside European Leaders have met and taken a stand on a “two-state solution” to put an end to the fighting between Israel and Hamas, as well as bring about peace in the entire Middle East.
