British Museum return artefacts ‘stolen’ from Asante King during the 19th century

British Museum has returned “a number of artefacts which were stolen from the court of the Asante king during the19th century”.

According to BBC News Africa: “Back where they belong: Last month, the British Museum returned a number of artefacts which were stolen from the court of the Asante king during the19th century. The objects were unveiled at the Manhyia Palace Museum in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti region, Ghana.”
