US-Canada: ‘We’re going to protect Canadians from harmful tariffs and defend our free trade agreement with the US’ – Trudeau

Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has assured, “We’re going to protect Canadians from harmful tariffs and defend our free trade agreement with the United States”.

This is coming after incoming US President, Donald Trump, announced creation of External Revenue Service (ERS) “to collect Tariffs, Duties, and all Revenue that come from Foreign sources”.

According to PM Trudeau: “Thanks to the Premiers for the frank and constructive meeting today. We’re going to protect Canadians from harmful tariffs and defend our free trade agreement with the United States.


We’ve done it before, and we’ll do it again.”
