Following Germany’s elimination from Euro 2024, Leroy Sané underwent minimally invasive surgery on his groin in Munich on Monday. The Bayern forward had been battling pain at the end of last season. The 28-year-old is now expected to join team training at the end of July with the rest of the players who competed at the Euros.
Euro 2024 host, Germany, got kicked out of the tournament after falling 1-2 to Spain in the quarter final on Friday 5 July, 2024.
