School Building Collapse In Plateau State: Minister of Education Amman extend profound sympathy

Professor Tahir Mamman, Honourable Minister of Education, has extended his “profound sympathy on the collapse of Saint Academy Building in Jos North, Plateau State”.

The collapse of the school building claimed more than 15 lives.

According to the Federal Ministry of Education:

The Honourable Minister for Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, expresses profound sympathy for the tragic collapse of Saints Academy building in Jos North, Plateau State.

The Federal Ministry of Education mourns the loss of young lives during their exams, feeling a collective sense of sorrow.

Honourable Minister appreciates the timely intervention of search and rescue teams and public members who helped evacuate students and staff.

Heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Plateau State, bereaved families, injured victims, and all of Plateau State. The Minister stresses the importance of constructing solid and safe structures to prevent future tragedies.
