Memory Verse: Jeremiah 48:10 – “Cursed be he that doeth the work of the Lord deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.”

“Cursed be he that doeth the work of the Lord deceitfully…” |
Texts:
Romans 12:11 – “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;”
1 Corinthians 3:9 – “For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.”
The above scriptures are simply saying we should be obedient and shun eye service in discharging our duties/works; also to not be menpleasers, and be devoted to a task or endeavour.
According to the Memory Verse, there is a curse on anyone that does the work of God with deception or without singleness of heart. God is in search of partners in progress not the lazy ones; those who see things the way God sees them.
Colossians 3:22 – “Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:”
