According to National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA): “NEMA and other Stakeholders responded to a building collapse in Ekosidin, near the University of Benin, successfully rescuing three victims without any fatalities. The injured are being treated at the University Teaching Hospital in stable condition.
“NEMA highlights the importance of adhering to building regulations to prevent incidents of collapsed building. The agency commends the collaborative efforts of SEMA,
“the Federal Fire Service, Nigeria Police, Civil Defence Corps, Federal Road Safety Corps, Red Cross, and the Ministry of Works and Physical Planning for their effective response.”
