Sudan Unrest: ‘Finland has contributed a total of €32million to UNHCR and partners’ – Grandi

High Commissioner for United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), Filippo Grandi, has made known, that Finland has made “a total yearly funding of €32million to UNHCR and partners for our work in Sudan, the Sahel and Ukraine.”

The unrests in “Sudan, the Sahel and Ukraine” have resulted to multiple loss of lives and destruction of properties, with millions of children out of school.

According to Grandi: “Thank you Minister 

@VilleTavio for informing me of a new Finnish contribution of €13million to UNHCR and its partners for our work in Sudan, the Sahel and Ukraine – this brings the total yearly funding by Finland to €32million. This effort is very much appreciated!”
