Ville Tavio, Finland’s Minister of Trade and Development, disclosed, Finland has allocated €4million to Ukraine for humanitarian aid to survive the winter.

President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has been begging recently for support from partners to survive the winter following recent Russian missile strikes “relentlessly targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure”.
Earlier, President of the EU Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, said, “we are stepping up our humanitarian aid to Ukrainians in need as Russia is relentlessly targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure”.
According to Tavio: “I allocate 4 million euros to Ukraine for humanitarian aid to survive the winter. Support is channeled through UNHCR. On the home front, support benefits e.g. women, children, the elderly and the disabled. Hum. support to Ukraine for this year in total 20 meu.”
