With this beautiful performance, English attacking midfielder, Cole Palmer, has emerged the first ever player to net four (4) goal in the first half in the Premier League.
The Seagulls scored first early, in the 7th minute, through G. Ruther, however, Enzo Maresca’s side responded with a hat-trick through Palmer in the 21st, 28th and 31st minutes.
C. Baleba netted Brighton’s second in the 34th minute, and Palmer perfectly converted Jadon Sancho’s assist to make it four for the hosts in the 41st minute.
This outcome has lifted Chelsea to third on the table with 13 points, trailing Arsenal and Manchester City who both have 14 points.
Brighton’s unbeaten start to the season ends in London, and they sit on the 8th spot with 9 points.
