President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent his condolences to the government and people of Niger State following a boat accident that occurred on Tuesday night.

The unfortunate incident claimed “25” lives with “at least 150 people rescued from the scene”.
In his condolence, President Tinubu directed the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) to look into the “spate of boat accidents in Niger State and across the country and device modalities to check the trend.”
