Premier League 2024/25: Manchester City 3-2 Fulham – Kovacic brace hand Cityzens victory at home

Manchester City struggled to clinch all three points in the Premier League 2024/25 match against Fulham at Etihad Stadium on Saturday 5 October, 2024.

It was really tough, Cityzens manager, Pep Guardiola, was shown the yellow card in stoppage time as Fulham pressed for an equalizer.

Mateo Kovacic’s brace was very helpful in Manchester City’s 3-2 win over the Cottagers, who took the lead through Andreas Pereira in the 26th minute, but, the Croatian central midfielder levelled in the 32nd minute, and went ahead to place the hosts ahead in the 47th minute.

Jeremy Doku made it 3-1 for City in the 82nd minute. Rodrigo Muniz netted the second for Marco Silva’s side in the 88th minute.

Fulham pushed for a leveller, however, the Cityzens held on.

Manchester City are 2nd with 17 points, while Fulham are 7th with 11 points, both after seven (7) matches.
